There are so many benefits to Dance classes for all ages- there are physical benefits, social benefits, and academic benefits.
Physical Benefits: Dancing is a physical activity which will improve children’s overall physical health. Some of the benefits of dance are increased flexibility, range of motion, physical strength, and stamina. Dance helps develop body control, build muscle tone, as well as improve posture, coordination, and balance. During dance class, children will experience gross and fine motor movements. As dance is a form of exercise it can also help overweight children to lose weight and improve their overall cardiovascular health. With childhood obesity on the rise it is so important to encourage our children to be physically active and to make good choices.
